Research Geophysicist

I'm a Research Geophysicist with the USGS in Denver, CO.  I study gas hydrate accumulations with multicomponent seismic methods, and I also study the water requirements for hydraulic fracturing of shales for oil/gas extraction.  I at the USGS as a Mendenhall post-doc working on shear-wave seismic reflection methods for near-surface targets.  My 2004 PhD on "Seismoelectric imaging of shallow targets", followed my 2001 MS working with INDEPTH III seismic refraction data from central Tibet.
